Answers, plainly.

Six questions a skeptical visitor actually asks, answered without persuasion. Where a number appears here, it is the number the network runs on.

What is XFG?

Fuego (XFG) is the native privacy coin of the Fuego network, a CryptoNote chain built around ring signatures. Each transaction is signed with a one-time key, so the chain records a signature without a sender. The supply is hard-capped at 8,000,008 XFG with no premine and no inflation schedule.

How many XFG will ever exist?

8,000,008 XFG, and no more. The cap is a consensus rule: there is no tail emission and no inflation schedule. XFG burned for other purposes returns to miners as block reward, so scarcity holds across generations instead of being scheduled away.

Is XFG premined, or sold through an ICO?

Neither. The network launched publicly with proof of work from block zero, with zero premine and no ICO or development tax. Every XFG in circulation was mined into existence, and no allocation was reserved to distribute to anyone.

What privacy does XFG actually provide?

Three layers. Ring signatures mix each transaction with a changing set of decoys, between 8 and 32. Stealth one-time sub-addresses mean every payment arrives at a fresh address, so receivers cannot be linked. Dandelion++ obscures the originating IP address at the network layer, and the network carries pluggable privacy transports.

What is HEAT, and how do you get it?

HEAT is an XFG-coloured flatcoin that tracks the Fuego Cost Index, a price index created by miners submitting their local energy costs. You mint it by burning XFG at the Hearth pool rate; the burn is one-way and final. HEAT can then be locked into a term-locked certificate that earns yield from protocol fees.

What is the Private Exchange?

A peer-to-peer cross-chain exchange. Swaps settle through adaptor signatures and DLEQ proofs, so a swap is indistinguishable from an ordinary private XFG transfer on the Fuego side. Swaps into Fuego are private by default. A swap out to a public chain is only as private as that chain allows — Fuego cannot impose privacy on a non-private ledger. There is no bridge and no wrapped asset, which means no bridge operator, no wrapped token, and no additional failure surface to trust.

Is Fuego audited?

Fuego makes no audit claim, and this site does not make one on its behalf. The verification path is the source: the protocol, the wallet, and the parameters listed here are public, and each one can be checked against the implementation. Read the code, then decide.
